We have brought over 500 visitors to our community on over a dozen tours for the last three years! Over 1,500 viewers have watched our "slideshow" of Albany Park and taken our virtual tour via smart phones.
North River Commission (NRC), the non-profit which Albany Park Chamber is the economic development affiliate, is the official tour host for the City of Chicago’s Office of Tourism’s Neighborhood Tours of Albany Park and its surrounding neighborhoods. Tours have also been sponsored by the Mayor’s Office of Special Events (MOSE), the Burnham Plan Centennial’s “Great Spaces, Great Places”, Boeing, the Local Initiative Support Corporation/ Chicago, Northeastern Illinois University, the Lisle Park District, and others.
The Albany Park Chamber connected several Albany Park eateries and Chamber members to the Office of Tourism’s monthly “Ethnic Eating Tours,” including Noon O Kabab Persian Restaurant, Jaafer Sweets, and Semiramis Lebanese Restaurant. NRC continues to host and organize tours as part of its “Albany Park Retail Marketing Campaign” to make our community a shopping, dining and entertainment destination on Chicago’s northwest side.

Getting Around
Visit us via the CTA's Ravenswood Brown Line or Blue Line, the 1-90 Kennedy or 1-94 Edens Expressways, the North Shore Channel Bike Trail or the North Branch of the Chicago River! There are public parking lots at Kimball & Lawrence (CTA Park N' Ride), Kedzie just north of Lawrence Ave (CTA Park N' Ride), and plenty of on-street and angled parking spaces.
